This design is based off of a drawing that I made. After reading about colour symbolism in the bible, I added the text. Blue is the colour of the sky and represents the heavenly realm. Mother Mary wore a blue dress and blue dye or "holy blue" was laborious and expensive as it was extracted by removing a gland inside of the murex sea snail.
